Well-being is the cornerstone of both personal and professional success. For me, this realization stems not just from my professional career but from my personal journey as a competitive strength athlete. Balancing the demands of becoming a Norwegian champion in powerlifting and achieving a podium finish in Norway’s Strongest Man competition while maintaining full-time employment gave me a unique perspective. I saw firsthand how physical and mental well-being influence performance, both on and off the field.

The Path to Corporate Wellness

My career trajectory took me from roles in the Norwegian oil and gas industry to earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, specializing in physical activity and health. Along the way, I noticed a recurring theme: workplaces have immense potential to shape health outcomes and life trajectories. During my time as an employment specialist for a government contractor, I observed how well-being (or the lack thereof) directly impact both individuals’ ability to thrive and organizations’ ability to succeed.

These experiences laid the foundation for MyCapsule, the company me and my friend Matyas Kolsofszki founded in 2023. Our mission is simple but profound: Create the organizations of the future where employee well-being and business performance work hand in hand to achieve shared success.

MyCapsule: Redefining Corporate Wellness

At MyCapsule, “redefining corporate wellness” means creating solutions that balance employee well-being with business performance in actionable ways. Drawing inspiration from Industry 5.0, a framework that prioritizes human-centric innovation—we focus on using technology to enhance well-being rather than replace human connections. Our platform integrates real-time analytics, personalized dashboards, and actionable insights, enabling organizations and employees to tackle challenges proactively.

What sets MyCapsule apart is its ability to seamlessly integrate employee well-being with operational goals. By requiring minimal time and resources from daily operations, it provides companies with valuable, actionable data while ensuring accountability. This dual-purpose approach aligns wellness strategies with business objectives, creating an environment where both employees and organizations achieve their goals together.

Insights from the CCWS Program

Completing the Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (CCWS) program allowed me to learn directly from industry leaders and explore best practices in corporate wellness. By focusing on real-world case studies, the program provided actionable insights that have shaped MyCapsule’s features and overall approach.

The certification also gave me a deeper understanding of wellness trends, particularly in North America, and allowed me to bring key take aways back to Europe and Norway. This global perspective has helped refine MyCapsule’s approach, ensuring it addresses universal wellness challenges while tailoring solutions to regional needs.

Future Trends in Corporate Wellness

In the coming years, wellness solutions will increasingly integrate advanced technology with a focus on human connection. Programs leveraging AI and wearable devices will offer personalized experiences, ensuring that technology complements—not replaces—the interpersonal relationships critical to workplace success.

Future trends for 2025 and beyond will include:
• Using data and technology to tailor wellness programs.
• Promoting work-life balance through flexible schedules and remote-friendly initiatives.
• Providing access to mental health resources and resilience training.
• Educating employees on the critical roles of nutrition, sleep, and recovery in overall well-being and work performance.

At MyCapsule, we are committed to aligning with these emerging trends, ensuring that our solutions provide the most effective and forward-thinking support for both our customers and their employees.

A Personal Perspective

Well-being is deeply personal, yet its ripple effects are felt everywhere—at work, at home, and in society. A thriving workplace culture, supported by meaningful wellness programs, creates a positive feedback loop where happier, healthier employees drive better business outcomes.

My advice to those developing wellness programs or solutions is simple: prioritize strategies that align employee well-being with business performance. When these elements support one another, the result is a workplace where both individuals and organizations achieve together.
