Corporate Wellness Conference & Certification

I wanted to reach out to see if you would be attending the CHWA's 4th  annual Corporate Wellness Conference this year, Oct 24-26th. This will be our biggest and best year yet.   We have brought out the big dogs and the rockstars that won't see at any other conference.

From Google, Yahoo, Disney, Amex, AMA, NAIC, Denver Broncos, and 60+ more speakers.  We are excited to confirm Phylis Borzi, Assistant Secretary for Employee Benefits for the U.S. Department of Labor.  For those of you who don't know, she is probably the most senior and influential in the US Government for healthcare reform.

So be prepared to learn about how healthcare reform and corporate wellness will interact. We have also brought in one of the top behaviorists in the country and best selling author's showing you how to influence your employees. This year we have several case studies of multinational companies and their wellness programs To Check our Rock Star Speakers http://www.corporatewellnessconference.com/2012-speakers.html

We are very excited that our corporate wellness book, Engaging Wellness: Corporate Wellness Programs that work will be released in the next 45 days bringing together the combined knowledge and experience of over 30 experts in wellness, and publishing some of the most recent case studies of employer wellness programs.

One of the most important parts of our conference this year is our certification which we have been developing for years. This year attendees can achieve 8 hours of credit at the conference, take an exam and become a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist.  For those who can't make it they can get certified online starting Nov 10th.

You can receive SPHR and CE credits will attending the certification classes.  This new certification will set the standard for the industry and you can learn more here http://corporatewellnessconference.com/certified-corporate-wellness-specialist.html

Once certified, based on experience requirements, HR and Insurance Professionals can apply for the next levels of certification, Certified Corporate Wellness Manager and Director of Corporate Wellness.  The Corporate Health and Wellness Association has worked hard over the past few years through it's employer members to create a comprehensive wellness certification that has teeth, sets people apart and will actually mean something.

We are launching at our conference the new search functionality on the CHWA website, so that people and organizations can search and find certified wellness professionals.  We are not just certifying, but helping those individuals who have gone through certification, become known and searchable.

PS. It doesn't hurt that the conference is on the beach at one of the top and only beachfront convention centers in Florida!  I hope you can make it to our Beachfront Boot camp with the Biggest Loser winner, or our Beachfront Yoga.
